Literacy Academic Interventionist – Middle School

Position Summary

The Middle School Literacy Academic Interventionist provides targeted reading instruction to students who require additional support in foundational literacy skills. Working in close collaboration with the building Literacy Coach, classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators, the interventionist implements strategic interventions designed to accelerate student growth in reading. This position focuses on building foundational reading skills, including phonological awareness, phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, while supporting students in accessing grade-level curriculum.
